Personal information
We have to register your name and address in our order system in order for you to shop at e-scarf's webstore. However we guarantee that the personal information only will be used for transport purposes. Personal information will never be passed on to any third parties.
In addition At e-scarf we only save information about your name, address and email address. Pursuant to the Danish Act on Bookkeeping the information will be filed in our closed bookkeeping system. In addition accordingly to the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data you are always entitled to see the information we hold about you at any time and if so just write us an email.
Consignment
All orders placed at e-scarf's website are sent by the Danish Postal Service with private distribution. The parcel is thus delivered at your door.
All orders placed before 12:00 on weekdays are always forwarded the same day, which means that you will receive your goods within 5 weekdays if Post Denmark (the Danish postal service) keeps their promise to deliver from day to day. (According to Post Danmark 97% of all letters and parcels are delivered on a day to day basis).
The amount of postage at e-scarf's webstore is always £5 for a packet irrespective of the order size.
If you wish to have your goods sent to countries other than the UK this will also be possible. The price will always be £5 no matter to which country (within the EU) you wish to send your order. The price will automatically be an option if you select a country other than UK during check-out.
Secure consignment
At e-scarf we devote ourselves to ensure that your order is forwarded as securely as possible no matter if you select packet or parcel during the check-out procedure. Most goods are sent in blister envelopes but larger orders are sent in cardboard boxes. Therefore you never have to worry whether your goods will arrive in good condition.
Payment
In e-scarf's webstore we accept payment with the following payment and credit cards: Visa/Electron, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Maestro, JCB, Dankort and Visa/Dankort.
e-scarf is approved by NETS International and therefore when shopping at e-scarf's webstore you can feel 100% secure during the whole payment process. All payments carried out via the Danish Payments Systems Ltd which controls all payments on the Danish Internet shops. The payments are moreover encrypted which means that you are the only one who can read your card information! Not even e-scarf is able to read your card information.
The amount will not be withdrawn from your account until we have sent your goods. Therefore you can be certain that you never pay for things you have not received. Typically we withdraw the amount from your account 1-2 working days after the consignment.
You will receive an order confirmation immediately after your order. The money will be automatically withdrawn when the jewelry is sent.
Order cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order after the order is placed, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. However if the order is sent before we notice the cancellation you will have to return it on your own account.
Full right of return
When you shop at e-scarf you have two weeks’ full right of return. During the two weeks’ period you are free to return your goods if the goods are as new. This means that you are free to buy an article and return it if you do not like it or if it for instance does not fit.
The goods must be returned in their original packing material and any seals must be intact. Please remember to enclose the receipt when returning the goods. And please note on the receipt whether you wish to exchange the goods or get your money back.
We will automatically pay the full amount, incl. postage, onto the payment card you used when you paid for the goods. The money will be repaid into the back account conntected to your credit card within approx. 2-3 weekdays after the goods have been returned.
When you return an article (no matter if the article is to be exchanged or the money repaid), you pay for the transport costs for returning the goods to us unless otherwise agreed.
When exchanging goods e-scarf will pay the costs of delivery when sending the new goods to you.

Right of complaints
Pursuant to section 83 of the Danish Sale of Goods Act you always have a period of 24 months in which you have the right to complain when shopping at e-scarf's webstore. This means that you may complain if your goods are defective in a period of up to 24 months after the receipt of your goods. If you wish to make use of the right of complaints, you have to return the article, incl. a description of the defect(s) and the receipt, to our address:

If the complaint is legitimate, e-scarf will automatically send you a new product on our account. e-scarf will also repay reasonable transport costs in connection with the return of the goods.
Moreover the general rights in section 83 of the Danish Sale of Goods Act apply. It secures you as a customer when buying at e-scarf's webstore. We rather want 1 satisfied customer than 2 dissatisfied customer.
Miscellaneous
All prices at e-scarf's webstore are incl. Danish VAT (25%).
All consignments include a receipt which should be preserved in case of complaints, etc
